As your maxSIM™ service is prepaid, you must have credit in your account before
you can make calls (go to "Top-up your card" in "Further Information" for details and to add credit).
Always dial numbers with the full country dialling code. This applies even if you are calling within
a country. E.g. if you are making a call to a UK number, you should add +44 and delete the first "O" of that number, just like
making an international call using any other service).
NB. Please use the + format, or simply put the international code (e.g. for the UK use +44 xxx xxxx, or 44 xxx xxxx). Do not use
add two zeros (e.g. 0044 xxx xxxx).
After dialling the number, there will be a slight pause as the maxSIM™ rings you
back to connect your call. Answer normally. Some mobile phones may display
messages during this process, but please ignore these.

Your maxSIM™ number is a UK-based phone number so anyone can reach you when you are travelling simply by dialling your
maxSIM™ number. The cost to them will be the same as a standard call to a UK mobile.
NB. If they are calling you from the UK they should simply dial your maxSIM™ number just like calling any other mobile phone. If
they are dialling from any other country they should add the usual international dialling code i.e. +44, and delete the first "0" of your maxSIM™ number (just as if they were making an international call to a UK mobile).

maxSIM™ allows you to redirect calls to any landline or mobile anywhere in the world, so you can receive calls conveniently wherever you are.
You can set up your account to top up automatically. Great for when you're on the beach or the ski slope without a credit card!
Alternatively, you can divert calls from your UK mobile to your maxSIM™ number.
To divert all calls to your maxSIMª phone enter the following codes in your UK handset before removing your own SIM card: **21*your maxSIM™ number#[SEND]. Any calls to your UK phone will now ring on your maxSIM™ phone.
You will be charged for the diverted part of your calls, which will cost the same as a cross-network call. For example, if you are travelling to Turkey, most UK mobile networks charge between 90p-£1.39 per minute to receive a call from the UK. By diverting calls to a maxSIM phone you will pay between 25-30p per minute for diverted calls, making a substantial saving. You will pay nothing to receive a call.
Nobody calling you will know you do not have your normal UK phone with you. On your return cancel the divert by entering: ##21#[SEND]
